Established in 2013, Aikido Kenshin-Kai is a small but closely knit community of Aikidokas in Singapore who strive not only for martial effectiveness but for the art to mould the character within.
It was a Saturday of many firsts. The first time students got a taste of different Aikido styles; the first opportunity some students trained with people from other Aikido school; the first students from each of our 3 dojos got to know one another better; the first time lunch was provided after training =P; and probably the first time there was such a training collaboration between different Aikido schools in Singapore.
Aikido Kenshin-Kai has been granted affiliation with Hokuso Aikikai and we are honoured to have Hironobu Yamada Shihan as our technical advisor! The promotion took place on 13th January 2013 at the "Kagami Biraki" Ceremony held at Aikikai Hombu Dojo.
