Congratulations Alvin !!!!

Congratulations to Alvin on his 1st Kyu promotion! 🎉

The 1st Kyu is a meaningful milestone that reflects his steady effort, commitment, and growth on the mat. In Aikido, every grading is not just a recognition of technique, but also a reminder of the discipline, humility, and perseverance built through consistent training.

Wishing Alvin continued progress as he moves forward in his Aikido journey!

Weapons class on the 12/5/26

Back to the 24 Jo Kata and bokken work for our Tuesday evening training.

Through the jo and bokken, we revisit the same principles that guide our empty-hand practice. Posture, centre, distance, timing, and calm intent. Each movement reminds us to move with clarity, stay connected with purpose, and respond without relying on force.

Lesson Break till 7 April 26

We will be on a short break. Lessons will resume on 8 April. Have a good break and see you soon.

Futari-Dori 20/3/26

A meaningful Friday night of Aikido practice at Toa Payoh Central CC!

This week, we trained futari-dori (Defense against two simultaneous attackers), worked through nikyo variations with tenchi nage, and focused on understanding how to blend, stay balanced, and respond with control under pressure. A lot of learning, a lot of practice, and a lot of heart on the mat..

Are you interested in self-defense, fitness, and inner calm? Our Aikido classes for kids and adults run every Friday at Toa Payoh Central CC Multipurpose Hall. No prior experience is needed! We welcome beginners and practitioners of all levels.

Kids: 7.45pm–8.45pm
Adults: 7.45pm–9.15pm

Come and join us! Hope to see you on the mat soon. 😄
